One of the best experiences I've had since coming to Melbourne has been to enjoy a movie outside, high up amongst the city's skyscrapers. The
Rooftop Cinema is only accessible by a heart attack inducing amount of stairs, or via the wobbly, and decidely dodgy, tiny, polly pocket sized elevator.
The views at the top however are well worth it, as is the great sound, screen, and bar. With faux grass and deck chairs for seating, this is one unique experience.

Jesus they have some good movies on, The Goonies, The Lost Boys, Stand By Me, The Breakfast Club. Need to see whats on in May!
Do they accept the Cineworld Card by chance?? ;)
PS. 404 on your link, shoddy work, especially when your in a web mag.
Cineworld not accepted : ( and tis a steep location and price for some old movies, but well worth it for the experience alone. 404 tis fixed-cheers sir.
Sounds like a good idea, they would need to make it pretty water proof over here though.
Glasgow did have an open air cinema once for a month or so a good few years back, but yeah, wasn't much of a success, surprise, surprise!
