GIFS, once the scourge of the interwebs, were almost banished for all but the newbies, but tumblr really brought these back in an incredibly creative way. A great overview video here that really from 4.17 on in the video hits a home run with beautifully creative aspects.
Expect to see GIF's become much more mainstream...
