Coca-Cola's Liquid & Linked Marketing Presentation Is Both Sweet & Refreshing
I've had this on my 'Watch later' YouTube list since June when several friends strongly recommended this presentation by Wendy Clark, SVP, Integrated Marketing Communications and Capabilities, at The Coca-Cola Company. I finally watched this today as I worked in the background. It took me about thirty seconds to stop what I was doing an immediately give my full and undivided attention.
I could say this is a long watch at thirty minutes, but dammit this is an investment worth ten times that much. Wendy talks about Coca-Cola's marketing strategy at +Google's thinkDoubleClick, seminar earlier this year and truly delivers, pun intended... refreshment.
It's all to easy to be cynical about a sugary drink and pass off their marketing and messaging, but if you put that aside you'll see a deeply smart, engaging presentation that not only inspires, innovates and excites, but leaves you appreciating how powerful ''open happiness" can be as a brand strategy.
